J.M. Cooper Navy Model Double Action Revolver in 36 Cal

J.M. Cooper Navy Model Double Action Revolver in 36 Cal. The gun has a blued finished with a brass grip frame. The serial Numbers match the number on the grip frame. The gun has a Colt 1862 pocket navy barrel and loading mechanism. The barrel length is 4.5 inch. All screw heads are serviceable. The left grip is likely bone, with the right looking like a blond wood.

Condition: The majority of the frame shows some original blueing with scattered light pitting and erosion. The finish on the frame and barrel match, evidencing that they have been together for a long time. Both serial numbers are visible and the colt barrel address is visible. The springs are strong and the action is operational but needs adjusting because it overindixes. The bore is above average for a percussion black power gun.
