F1100 A, US Army Tribute Colt
« on: April 21, 2016, 09:21:54 AM »

One of 100 U.S. Army Tribute Colt Model 1851 Navy from The American Historical Foundation, Richmond, Virginia.  Made in 1984 using an F series 2nd Generation Colt, it was the first of "The American Military Colt Collection", that consisted of Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine tribute revolvers.  This Army Tribute is fully engraved with military themed designs.  The barrel, loading lever, frame, cylinder trigger guard and back strap are all gold plated; while the screws, wedge, trigger, and nipples are blued; and, the hammer is case hardened.
