My Savage Navy Revolver
« on: June 26, 2014, 02:58:26 PM »

Hi all

I was lucky enough to pick up this pistol at an arms fair a couple of months ago, it wasn't cheap but as I had just turned 60 and lost my younger Brother in the same month I decided to go for it.
It's a pistol that's not to everyone's taste but I love it!

The temptation is to shoot it but we will have to wait and see!

Way cool.  I've always wanted one of them. Congrats on your acquisition

I like it. It's nice to see something besides a Colt or Remmington

The Savage Navy is a very interesting looking design.  I like the way it looks but wonder how they function.  I am always amazed at which designs become popular and which ones fall by the wayside.
