Gustave Young Engraved Cased Model 1851 Navy Revolver

 Serial no. 89260, .36 cal., 6 shots, 71/2" barrel marked in single line “-Address Saml Colt Hartford CT.-” German silver
 front sight blade on blued steel base dovetailed at muzzle. Cylinder with naval engagement roll scene. “Colts Patent”
 engraved within cartouche on left side of frame. Scroll engraved by the Gustave Young shop in style no. 2 on barrel,
 loading lever, wedge, frame, hammer and gripstraps. Finely checkered and embellished hammerspur. Wolfhead motif on
  each side of hammer. Stylized eagle head on left side of barrel lug, "9260” on bottom of wedge, bottom of cylinder pin,
  on loading lever lug and in ink withincutout of ivory grips for backstrap. Blued with case-hardened hammer, frame and
 loading lever, and silver-plated brass gripstraps. Ivory grips made from a single piece of ivory. Varnished mahogany case,
  lined in maroon velvet. Accessories of American eagle and Stand of Arms and flags powder flask, blued steel bullet
 mold with “Colts/Patent” on spruecutter, L-shaped screwdriver/nipple wrench, packet of D.C. Sage combustible cartridges,
 tin Eley Bros. caps and misc. projectiles.
