;D  Had one chainfire in in 19 years. Lets just say the 60 army was wore slam out and the nipple to recoil shield clearance  wasnt quite enough. Chamber in line with the bore went off then a millisecond later the chamber in line with the loading lever went off.Never did find the plunger. and the lever was bent all to heck.

;D Cool. I would say you wouldnt need to hollow point it, that fat nose bullet is going to pack some serious punch.

;D  Ok gotta add two more i picked up for Christmas, An old palmetto/Euroarms/ richland arms 1858 and a pietta 1858. Both are brass frame guns . I like the pietta but the smaller framed Richland is fast becoming a favorite.

;D  Had to go with the 44. Mainly because all mine are 44's right now. But the 51 navy in 36 is one of the best handling sixguns ever built. Had a couple about 25 years ago. Was going to get a london 51 last one i bought but Walker fever took over. lol

Hello there fellers. I'm in Western Virginia. Been shootin cap and ball revolvers for about 15 years. Started out with an Armi San Paolo 1860 still have it,just keep rebuildin the darned thing lol. Also shoot an ASM 60, and my newest toy an 1847 Walker. Love shooting and working on them. Have been gunsmithing anything that uses the one true gunpowder for about 15 years. Your camp looked friendly from the ridge so i thought i would come down and join ya.
