Good carry holster?
« on: January 05, 2014, 12:26:31 PM »

Who makes a good secure carry holster for a 58 Rem or a 60 Colt?  I'm not looking for a backward military flap reproduction.

I'm checking out Tandy.  Many of their patterns say 58 Rem.

Lots of folks and companies do.  Triple K makes one with a snap.  I added a hammer thong to an Oklahoma Leather Western Open Top holster that works for me.  Also bought a couple flap holsters from Mountain State Supply that seem decent for the price though one stunk until left outside for a week to air out.

There are custom makers like Black Horse on ebay, Whyte Leather, Dell's Leather Works that'll make them any way you want for a fair price.

Check out some the holsters I have made on my website.  I do this as a second business and try to make reasonably priced, hand made stuff.  All of it is one of a kind and each one I make is unique.

Eagle,
I don't have a regular price list.  All my work is custom but some things such as my Saturday Night Special holsters are basic for most revolvers so I have a starting price on them of $48.  Usually I ask a for a little information and work out a price for you based on what you are looking for.  Anyone interested can contact me through the website or send me a PM.

Here is my holster for my Walker that mike116 made for me.  It fits my revolver perfectly, and it is really high quality.  I really love it, and would highly recommend Mike's work.  I plan to order more leather goods from him, including a holster for my Remington pattern revolver.
