Remembering Pearl Harbor
« on: December 07, 2012, 05:54:51 PM »

 8) Remembering the Jap sneak attack on Pearl Harbor 7 Dec. 1941 , that killed 2,402 military and 68 civilians, and wounded 1,247 military seriously. The sad part was the incident at Niihau island of downed jap pilot officer Shigenori Nischikamchi(might not be spelled correctly) how fast two Japanese Americans (husband & wife ) helped him. Which ensued a fight with the Hawaiians, resulting in one of the jap Americans getting killed. I dont remember which one got killed, but it proved at that time, the Japanese Americans would choose their country over America , to a lot of folks then in 1941.
