Hello from Georgia
« on: October 22, 2015, 07:06:04 PM »

Hi all,

My involvement with Black Powder began in 1986 when I made an impulse purchase of a CVA Colt Army percussion revolver kit at the local Service Merchandise store. Fitting and staining that kit gun was NOT a labor of love and it showed. I began to wonder what I had got myself into until I shot it for the first time. I could not get enough of the smoke, odor, dirt. The allure became a near obsession  :), my collection grew, I educated myself more about the percussion pistols, muzzleloaders, loads, FF vs FFF, et cetera. Thirty years later, I still have a good time with it. My latest acquisitions: 2014 Lancaster 44" Pennsylvania Flintlock, Uberti Colt 1st Model (Dragoon), Uberti Colt Walker w/ conversion cylinder. Currently looking for someone to rebate the conversion cylinder of the Walker to chamber the BPM cartridge. I look forward to continuing my education and good times here.
