New guy with a question.
« on: August 16, 2014, 06:04:43 PM »

I'm elated to find a forum devoted to percussion revolvers.  I do own a few original Colt's as well as a few reproductions.  I'm curious if you would consider the Centaure a replica or original.  It was made in Belgium and licensed both in the 1800's and in the  1950's by Colt firearms to produce their arms and later expanded the offerings.  A link to the history can be found here: http://www.1960nma.org/Production/BELGIAN%20COLT-Production04.09.08-1.htm
So in essence - would you consider it a Colt?

No, I wouldn't consider it a Colt. However I consider it a very good firearm...
